Tiger Hill

Tiger Hill is known as the most popular destination in Darjeeling. It is 11 km away from the main town of Darjeeling which is famous for the glorious sunrise view early in the morning along with the backdrop of once in a lifetime sight of both Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga. Tiger Hill is a perfect spot for photography lovers as well.

Batasia Loop

Batasia Loop is the famous spiral railway in Darjeeling which was created in 1919. This railway track in Darjeeling is one of the oldest tourist sites where the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) passes by. Batasia Loop gives sensational views of the Himalayas and the green hills. At the centre of the Loop, there is also a beautiful garden and war memorial.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is located at the main town of Darjeeling and it is known as one of the most famous tourist attracting destinations in the region. This central zoo of Darjeeling was established on 14 August 1958 and it is well known as the breeding centre for snow leopard and red panda

Peace Pagoda

Peace Pagoda in Darjeeling is a very important structure for the residents of the region as they believe that it is the sign of peace and prosperity. It is a Buddhist stupa that was built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii to unite the people of the region. Peace Pagoda of Darjeeling has the height of 64 ft and 75 ft diameter.

Ghoom Monastery

Ghoom Monastery is known as one of the oldest and biggest monasteries of Darjeeling. It is famously known as Yiga Choeling Monastery that was established in 1850 by the Mongolian astrologer and monk named Sokpo Sherab Gyatso. This monastery is located at Ghoom, a beautiful foggy hill station of Darjeeling.
