Gorumara National Park is the famous medium-sized national park of Dooars region which got the Indian National Park status on 31st January 1994. The area is entirely covered with green forests which is a result of fertile land. Jungle safari is famous at Gorumara National Park and it is known for the huge population of Indian Rhinoceros.
Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the main wild animal's protection and conservation area which is very near to Gorumara National Park. Jeep safari is very popular at this wildlife sanctuary to see the huge population of elephant. The wild animals like Rhinoceros, Deer, Bears and Leopards are often found here in Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary.
Jaldapara National Park is one of the major national parks of Dooars region which was declared as the National Park in 2012. Jaldapara National Park is located at an altitude of 61 metres and it is famous for the huge population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, an animal that was believed and threatened for extinction.
Buxa Tiger Reserve is the tiger reserve centre in Dooars which was established in 1983. Jungle safari is the most thrilling adventure activity that is famous at Buxa Tiger Reserve and it covers the total area of 760 square km. Other animals like the Asian elephant, Sambar deer, Indian leopard, gaur and clouded leopard can also be seen at Buxa Tiger Reserve.
Murti is known as the fastest emerging destination in Dooars to attract tourist. It is the name of the beautiful river which has been one of the focal points for the visitors at Dooars region. Murti is the main spot where visitors can travel to other famous destinations. There are immense hotels and resort facilities at Murti.
